Reverend Willie Duckworth has served for the past eight years as pastor of the Emanuel Church of God in Christ (COGIC) of Florida located in Miami. He also serves as president of the Evangelist Department of the South Miami District COGIC, a consortium of seven churches. Rev Duckworth further serves at the jurisdictional level of the Eastern Florida Jurisdiction COGIC as: (a) Corresponding Secretary of the Pastors/Elders Council; and (b) Public Relations Officer of the Jurisdictional Evangelist Department. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida, Inc. (NHSSF), and of the Collective Empowerment Group of South Florida, Inc. (CEG)
Rev Duckworth served our nation for nearly 21 years as a member of the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1995. Shortly after retiring from the Air Force, he began employment with the Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. where he ascended to the office of Director of Support Services. In March 2011, after nearly 16 years with the Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Rev Duckworth resigned his position with the Agency to pursue the ministry on a full-time basis.
